Lightweight and designed with rubberized buttons, the Nutribullet was easy to maneuver and took just seconds to assemble. While it was in the middle of the pack in the mayo test, we did appreciate that its dual-speed dial and button design helped when transitioning between pulsing and blending. Likewise, it had one of the fastest results in the smoothie test, fully blending ingredients in 40 seconds, and didn't splatter or overheat like similarly priced competitors. In the soup test, this model pureed the broccoli, onions, and celery in just 35 seconds and reached a velvety texture after a minute. We tried out the brand's immersion blender and were equally impressed with its power and performance when processing tough ingredients. Nutribullet made its name with its small-but-mighty personal blender that's excellent for single-servings and mini meals. Its plastic body doesn't feel as substantial as ones made with stainless steel, and it didn't stand out in the emulsion test.

It’s not common for the dances to have names, so for the purpose of this list, I’ve called them by the song they’re scored to, or an official name if there is one. A song that came out in 2010, Kesha’s “Cannibal,” is currently the soundtrack to one of the most popular dances. Some dances are scored to actual clips from songs, such as the hugely popular Doja Cat “Say So” dance, and others use more obscure remixes. It’s also the easiest way to find the dances - click on the sound used in the video. Fourteen-year-old Jalaiah Harmon doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the Renegadeone of the biggest dances on TikTok e-v-e-r. of non-TikTok users, you may look like a dance pro when youre actually not. ![]() The word “sound” can be used to describe a song, a clip from a TV show, any audible component. The first order of business is learning some TikTok dances, ironically. Instead of passing around photos or jpeg formats, the sounds get used over and over. If those words mean nothing to you, take a deep breath, get into something comfy, and check out the ten dances below, ranked from easiest to borderline impossible.Ī quick note on the medium: Audio is central to TikTok. But I am a big fan of endorphins, so I’ve gone down the rabbit hole and learned many whole TikTok dances including Renegade, Cannibal, Say So, Hit Every Beat, Hey Boy, and Rule the World. I’m not a great dancer my experience is limited to a high-school production of Grease. ![]() The dances were inescapable on my feed, but until recently, I hadn’t tried them. Welcome. ![]() "Woodstock" and "Carry On" represented the group as a whole, while the rest of the record was a showcase for the individual members. "Carry On" worked as the album's opener when Stills "sacrificed" another copyright, "Questions," which comprised the second half of the track and made it more substantial. Most of the music, apart from the quartet's version of Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock," was done as individual sessions by each of the members when they turned up (which was seldom together), contributing whatever was needed that could be agreed upon. ![]() Young's presence also ratcheted up the range of available voices one notch and added a uniquely idiosyncratic songwriter to the fold, though most of Young's contributions in this area were confined to the second side of the LP. There were also some obvious virtues in evidence - the addition of Neil Young to the Crosby, Stills & Nash lineup added to the level of virtuosity, with Young and Stephen Stills rising to new levels of complexity and volume on their guitars. Déjà Vu worked as an album, a product of four potent musical talents who were all ascending to the top of their game coupled with some very skilled production, engineering, and editing. Those achievements are all the more astonishing given the fact that the group barely held together through the estimated 800 hours it took to record Déjà Vu and scarcely functioned as a group for most of that time. ![]() One of the most hotly awaited second albums in history - right up there with those by the Beatles and the Band - Déjà Vu lived up to its expectations and rose to number one on the charts. ![]() Dredging strips away the accumulated debris, which can restore the water body to its original depth and reduce the risk of flooding. One thing about Handbrake which isn’t great is the length of time it takes to actually rip a disc. You can also tweak the video and audio settings if you ‘re more of an expert and you know what you want, so it doesn’t limit you really but still has sensible defaults you can call up. I wish more applications worked as easily as this. I don’t have an iPod or iPhone but I do have a PS3 and being able to just select that profile and know the video will work on the device is great. One thing I like about the Handbrake interface is the list options down the right hand side to quickly and easily target specific devices. I decided to test it by ripping an episode of Spaced, a British comedy series that I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it. I have to do this whenever I want to rip a new disc, it doesn’t auto-detect which would be a nice feature. ![]() I don’t know if this is a quirk of the program or a quirk of my hardware but once I’d figured this out it wasn’t too much hassle. I’m using a Dell m1330n laptop and I only have one optical drive, the one selected was labeled “dvd” so I chose “dvdrw” from the dialog and then everything worked. One thing I did find strange is that the program didn’t automatically detect the DVD I’d loaded in my drive, instead I had to manually select the correct device. Upon opening the application for the first time you’re presented with a pretty nice looking interface, simple enough and not overcrowded but incorporating all the features you could need. ![]() ![]() Once installed the application should just appear on your menu, for me it was in the MintMenu under “Sound & Video” so it’s likely to be in a similar place even if you’re using a different flavour of Linux. It’s worth having a look around before you start I’d say. You can download the source code and build the application yourself which isn’t as daunting as it sounds or it’s possible some other distributions might have their own binary packages. There are “.deb” packages built for Ubuntu on the Handbrake website so it’s simply a matter of double clicking to install, who says Linux has to be hard eh? Admittedly if you’re on a non Debian-based system it might be not be quite so simple for you. Installing the program was nice and simple for me on Linux Mint 6. Handbrake is licensed under the GPL and as such is completely free and open source software, with all these facts and endorsements ringing in my ears I figured I should take it for a spin, no pun intended. There’s been a command line version of Handbrake on Linux for quite some time I believe but I never used it, I can handle myself pretty well in a terminal but it just didn’t appeal. I have some Mac using friends who really like it and often tell me how good it is for ripping discs. I’d heard a while back that the popular program Handrake had now released a Linux version with a GUI ( Graphical User Interface) and it seemed a good idea to try it out. ![]() I’m not overly experienced at doing this sort of thing, in the past I’ve always got the job done with applications like dvd:rip but not had a very satisfying experience. I decided earlier this week I needed to rip a DVD and looked around at the available options on Linux. ![]() Cornell's autopsy report has been uploaded online, and in that report, Wayne County assistant medical examiner Dr. The celebrity status of both men means relevant details about their deaths are publicly available. We have spoken to all the agencies that have jurisdiction over Bennington's home and can confirm that, contrary to what Your News Wire reported, law enforcement has not said Bennington was murdered. The quote doesn't appear in any other news report about the incident. The police department for that small coastal community south of Los Angeles contracts with the much larger Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to handle homicides, and the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau told us they did not respond to Bennington's death. Palos Verdes Estates police have not commented on the case and have instead referred all inquiries to the coroner's office. It's unclear what "detectives" Your News Wire could possibly have obtained such a quote from. We think he was murdered, we just have to find out who was behind it,” said a police source. “Murders are sometimes made to look like suicides. ![]() They have put a team of investigators in place and are refusing to rule out a criminal homicide charge. The two men were friends - in fact, Bennington took his life on what would have been Cornell's 53rd birthday. Cornell died on in his hotel room after a concert in Detroit, while Bennington passed away at his Palos Verdes Estates home on 20 July 2017. The more you hear it and the more you look at it, the greater the experience gets.On 21 July 2017, the junk news website Your News Wire (now News Punch) published a story reporting that Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who passed away on 20 July 2017 in his Palos Verdes Estates home near Los Angeles, had been murdered in similar fashion to his friend, Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell, who died two months earlier.īoth Bennington's and Cornell's deaths have been ruled suicides by hanging by Los Angeles County and Wayne County medical examiners, respectively. A lovely shock to the senses, for fans and non fans. In my case, it's like being transported into another dimension, a period I know very little except for what lasted: the songs and the way they entered into your soul. There isn't much of special moments when it comes to the video and words aren't enough to describe the images, the feelings and the sensation this song brings to you, it is a must-see experience so you can taste and feel what it's all about. I'm not sure about the beach where it was filmed but it looks hauntingly beautiful, it perfectly reflects the mood of the song, that everlasting sadness echoing through the air and the guitar riffs insisting in sounding very hard, hitting you deeply while the song words never make you forget about what you're hearing. ![]() Concept is simple and safe: a super band performing a powerful song. The "vocal duel" between Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder is truly epic. The music video isn't any masterpiece as clips usually were back then, but there's something truly special there: the location, the way it was filmed and it brings back memories, specially for those who lived the grunge era the song wasn't one of my favorites up until some recent eing now this combination of medias feels like adequate, memorable and possibly one of the greatest clip moments of all time. The result was Temple of the Dog, a whole album dedicated to Wood and their main song was "Hunger Strike". ![]() Soundgarden and Pearl Jam joined forces to pay tribute to the late Andrew Wood, lead vocalist of Mother Love Bone (both band members were part of this project earlier in their careers). |
